It’s preference and he is asking about the Mac version.
PC/Mac still has online multiplayer (supported by Bungie to this day), modding community, extra fan-made campaigns, 60fps, higher resolutions etc. but i have a friend who has it in PC it think he said it is ok but not as good as on Xbox.Only thing the OG Xbox version has over PC is Co-op and split-screen. get it on Xbox? i think that is the most readily available method.
